Former Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland revealed that she, along with superstar divas Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams, gate-crashed an Emirati wedding the last time they performed in Dubai as a group in 2005.
Rowland, who was in town for last Saturday’s Radio One Live event, said the three of them sneaked into a wedding which was held on the same night they performed at the Grand Hyatt.
"I have never seen so many beautiful flowers in my life," confessed Rowland.
"The wedding was held by a rich family. I think the aunt threw the wedding for the bride, or at least that’s what I remember," she said. "We wanted to go in there and dance; we love Arabic music."
The Radio One event was Rowland’s third visit to Dubai.
Her last was at this year’s Dubai Tennis Open which ran from February to March.
