Stray cats in Dubai are regularly euthanised. Should they be adopted?

I prefer adopting a stray cat to buying one from a pet shop. I would like to take care of stray animals as they are lonely and hungry and I would have them vaccinated.

I am not interested in cats but I might adopt a stray one some day. I am not scared of contracting any disease from the cat as I’d take it to a vet before adopting it. Euthanising cats is inhuman and it should be prohibited.

Euthanising stray cats is not right. They are peaceful animals and cause no harm to anyone. I would love to adopt stray cats and I don’t have any fear of letting them live with me and my family. It is just a pet.

I will not adopt stray cats. People in this country do but in our county we don’t as the cats we have are wild and destructive by nature. I am for euthanasia if cats pose a danger to people.

I wouldn’t like to bring home a stray cat. Cats are a burden and need a lot of care and attention. However, euthanising stray cats is terrible.

Actually I’ve adopted one street kitten. I took it home, cleaned it and took it to the vet to vaccinate it. Cats are very friendly animals. I disagree with the idea of euthanising them.

I love cats and own two. There is no harm if people wish to adopt stray cats but they should check the cat before taking it home. I support euthanasia in case the cat’s suffering continues and there is no hope of recovery.
