Michael Moore has his own brand of cinema which is part revolutionary, part sensationalist, but all very necessary.
Sicko exposes the capitalistic healthcare system in America that was born out of the need to create Wealth.
Former president Richard Nixon thought the system was a great idea. In fact, even today American doctors are promoted on the basis of how many cases of healthcare insurance they turn down so that major healthcare management organisations (HMO) can profit more.

Published: September 13, 2007, 15:44 Funny But Drab: Dumb AllBy Rajeev Kheror |
It has what it takes to sit through it, but it leaves you with nothing, not even the corny one-liners or the nonsensical repartee.
The plot is from the comedy classic It’s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World, with a good dose of scenes borrowed from Mr. Bean.
The film heads nowhere and so do you if you sit through it. The funny rejoinders of Ritiesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffery, Arshad Warsi and Aashish Chowdhry keep the laughs coming, but Sanjay Dutt’s talent is not visible.
