A Mighty Heart transcends the sad saga of slain The Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in an engrossing tale of the politics of idealism.
Daniel (Dan Futterman) and his pregnant wife Mariane Pearl, played brilliantly by Angelina Jolie, are journalists based in Karachi, Pakistan. Shortly after arriving at the port city, a go-between promises Daniel access to an elusive source that could help him put together a story on terrorism. As Danny left for the meeting, he told Mariane he might be late for dinner. He never returned.
What follows is a true account based on the memoirs of Daniel Pearl’s wife, Mariane.

After a sabbatical, Hollywood has produced a classic western that recalls the days of action- packed Wild West motion pictures, a genre it invented and perfected.
3.10 to Yuma lives up to this legend by producing a gritty drama led by terrific performances from Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.
A remake of a 1957 film of the same title, set in the 19th century railroad movement, the story is about a lame Arizona farmer Dan Evans (Christian Bale) who agrees to bring a famed captured outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to the train for Yuma that will take him to trial.
