A sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, where spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth

Director Ronald Emmerich, who has pushed the limits of film-making technology with films like Stargate, Godzilla, Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, promises yet another visual treat in 10,000 BC.

There will be Blood: Black gold

Rajeev Kheror

Any film depicting history authentically makes its way to the Oscars, and There Will Be Blood is no exception. Known to have an obsession with their country’s short history, American moviemakers have often used this subject to their advantage.

Loosely based on the novel Oil! by the socialist American writer Upton Sinclair, There Will Be Blood is a story about the hard struggle for success while questioning faith.
