They are America’s First Family and, no, they don’t live in the White House. If you’re still in any doubt as to who they are then you’re clearly not a Simpsons fan.

The dysfunctional exploits of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the rest of the assorted bunch of oddballs in the town of Springfield have finally been transferred to the big screen in the very first Simpsons movie.

Some have said the movie looks like an extended episode of the TV series, but fans of the show will love the movie for that very reason.
