Fireworks by Dr Rehana Khusro

An exhibition featuring the paintings of acclaimed Indian artist Dr Rehana Khusro opens at Hotel Coral Deira’s Rumours Café, from February 17.

Meaningfully titled Fireworks, the paintings mostly hark back to the primitive era when humans relied on animals in a big way.


Post cards from Mesopotamia II

‘Post cards from Mesopotamia II’, a painting exhibition showcasing the works of Iraqi/British artist Firyal Al Adhamy is currently on display at the Green Art Gallery in Jumeirah. The exhibition is inspired by the artist’s reacting to the looting of the Museum of Baghdad in 2003. The exhibition is on till February 23.


Surface of time

The B21 Gallery will be hosting an exhibition, ‘Surface of Time’, featuring the works of Lebanese-Egyptian conceptual artist Lara Baladi from February 28
‘Surface of Time’ presents four recent works of the artist.

An exhibition featuring the works of Egyptian contemporary artist Dr Omar El Nagdi is currently on at the Artspace Gallery at the Fairmont Hotel. On till February 18, the exhibition features is a wonderful collage of expressive textures, colours and Egypitan symbols

Live concert: Carlos Santana

Guitar icon and Grammy-winning recording legend Carlos Santana will rock Dubai at a live concert tomorrow evening. This will be Santana’s first performance in the Middle East.
