Art: A show of Freedom

Art teacher Dr Geeta Tembe and her student Samina Lokhandwala combine their efforts to present a collection of paintings in Dubai. Aptly titled ‘Freedom’, the exhibition showcases the collective work of these two artists.

Exhibition: Conflict and trauma
Artists Fouad Khoury, Joana Hadjithomas, Khalil Joreige, Tarek Al Ghoussein and Laila Shawa are presenting their creations in a unique exhibition titled Roads Were Open/Roads Were Closed. This one-of-a-kind spectacle includes awe-inspiring photographs and films which capture the trauma and conflict in the Middle East from an artist’s point of view.
