Prevent ageingDr Vishwas Chhabria |
Ageing is the process of growing older, or a progressive deterioration of bodily functions with a change in physical appearance over a period of time.
But one must also remember that human bodies have a unique ability to renew or regenerate at the cellular level.
Yoga can help in maintaining the health of the human body.
According to yoga philosophy, age is determined by the flexibility of the spine, not by the number of years one lives.
Yoga provides:
The spinal roll
Sit down at the edge of the exercise pad to make sure the back will not hit the floor. Draw up the knees and bend the head downward. Place hands under the knees
Keeping the spine curved, gently swing back and forth, imitating the swinging motion of a rocking chair
Don’t roll back too far and avoid rocking too slowly either. Feel the massaging action on the spine
Time: Do the routine four to six times
Caution: Avoid in case of high blood pressure, vertigo, disc prolepses
