Dubai based adventurer Adrian Hayes holds a unique place in the record books; within just 19 months he has pioneered all three pinnacles of the globe making him the fastest man in history to do so.
The former British Army Gurkha Officer successfully reached the South Pole in December 2007, walked across the ice to the North Pole in April 2007, and climbed Mt. Everest in May 2006, making him one of only 14 other elite explorers to have achieved this triple feat.
On Friday 16th May 2008 Hayes will be giving a one-off presentation charity dinner, "A Night at the 3 Poles" at which he promises to expose the harsh realities of pulling a 120kgs sled over 1200 kms of the harshest terrain on Earth not to mention climbing in the "Death Zone" to reach the top of the World's highest mountain.
As well as the opportunity to celebrate this remarkable achievement, the evening is essentially to raise awareness for two local charities close to Hayes’ heart - The Children’s Hope Foundation and Friends of Cancer Patients.
From 7.30 pm onwards at The Grand Hyatt Dubai, Hayes is promising an enlightening evening, and over 600 people have already booked their tickets.
There is also a surprise in store for guests as Hayes will reveal what his next challenge is to be!
